Internship opportunity for students

My name is Somen Debnath, I am a resident of the village of Basanti, Sundarbans, West Bengal, India. I have been travelling around the world since the 27th May 2004, when I have started my “Around the world bicycle tour for HIV/AIDS awareness program and seminars on Indian culture”. My goal is to reach all the 191 countries of the planet by the end of 2020, almost 200.000 km with a mission.
So far I travelled, including India, 100 countries and pedaled 120.000 km. I passed by Eastern and Central Asia (24 countries), 48 countries in Europe to North Pole, Greenland and 25 countries in Africa from Morocco to South Africa. Presently I am in South Africa, and I accomplished half of my journey around the world. It is a great inspiration to be now in the same country where Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela expressed their freedom vision. I am getting hope and faith from this country to fulfill my mission around the world.
Through this bicycle tour around the world, I am attempting to spread awareness about HIV / AIDS through lectures and seminars about Indian culture. My longtime strategy is to educate people from different parts of society by raising awareness among students from schools, universities and also encourage different Institutions and NGOs to start a chapter on HIV / AIDS awareness. The focus is on underprivileged poor people, urban / rural and tribal populations worldwide for spreading awareness about HIV / AIDS as they have the lowest level of awareness about this deadly disease.
During my journey I faced many hardships, including 24 days captivity by Talibans in Afghanistan, I got robbed 6 times in Central Asia, lived with wild animals like rhinos, elephants, pythons in wild nature and lived with one of the most ancient tribe Jarawa in Andamon & Nicobar Islands, India for 20 days, and with Maasai Tribe in Kenya. I crossed 7 seas and 3 oceans with greatest mountains like Himalaya and Alps. I felt India everywhere in this world with culture. I feel honored to be rewarded by 21 Presidents, 51 Prime Ministers and more than 186 Ministers all over the world. 94 High Commissioners and Ambassadors from the different countries where I travelled encouraged me and supported this world mission. Newspapers and televisions around the world are publishing reports and are interested in promoting this mission. Next I am going to travel all Western Africa to America, then Canada, Alaska, Russia, Siberia Mongolia and China, Japan, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, then South East Asia back to India.

I am addressing all students all over the world to support this mission with their ideas. You can make an internship project and send it at somenglobe@gmail.com. After we will receive different ideas we will contact you.
In order to fulfill mission and travel, I need to cooperate with:
1. An Executive Manager who could support my project and ideas for this mission;
2. A Communication Manager, who will manage my communication with the world.

I would like to keep your contribution in my future autobiography “16 Years Around the World Biking Odyssey”, and I will be most honored to associate you as part of my global family.

Kindly receive my deep regards and gratitude for your support!

With love, peace and happiness,
Somen Debnath

About Somen Debnath

Dear friends, my name is Somen Debnath. I am a resident of the village of Basanti, Sundarbans, West Bengal, which is a great mangrove forest and the largest tiger reserve in India. My "Around the World Bicycle Tour for HIV/AIDS Awareness Programme & Presentation of Indian Culture" started on 27th of May 2004, two days after I acquired Bachelor degree in Zoology from the University of Calcutta. I have also completed 'Visarad' in Fine Arts from the Sarbabhartiya University. My goal is to cover 191 countries till 2020. I will travel 200.000 km in the whole world and reach nearly 20 million people. 118.000 km I will travel for charity, that's why I'm selling my Km to people. The support I will get from people buying my kilometres will help me fulfill my other dream: to build a Global village in my native place, Basanti, Sundarbans.
