A MIRACLE MAN: MARIAN FROM CROATIA

AIR INDIA FRANKFURT, 24th of NOVEMBER 2011

One week before I came to visit one officer at Air India office in Frankfurt, after meeting Mr. Amit Roy he introduced me with Marian. He is an Air India employee from Croatia. Quite white color skin, tall and deep eyes, his handshake made me smile. He is a cyclist and He has three cycles, when other person needs it, they borrow from him. He would like to give one of them to me but as I will get one from Rotary president I said thank you my friend.

Last few months I broke my hard disc, few of IT persons already tried to fix it with no result. I kept in my mind one phrase: “what happening good happening” and, maybe, I will find somebody who can help me to transfer all data if I lost this hard disk’.

Today, date 24th November 2011, I came to Air India office again. I want to meet Mr. Roy who is going to India tomorrow. He will take my one bag along. When I came to meet him he was out and outside his office I met Marian, the same smile! We had coffee together. He helped me to pack up my parcel and I knew from him he is a hardware engineer. I told him about my hard disk and He came with me to my place, and took my hard disk to his home and promised me he would try to fixit it if possible. Really I want to tell you, I thought it is not even 10% chance to get back all my data, 50,000photographs which I had lost! My life, my people and all documents!

You will not believe me! I got a call at nearly 20.30hrs. Marian recovered my hard disk, 430GB. It was really a miracle for me! A human like a God for me! I was very excited, I closed my eyes and crossed my fingers. I was more than only happy.

I so many times said thanks to him and thanks to my God, yes you all are my God! You are everywhere, inside every person, I remember the quotation from Swami Vivekananda………!

About Somen Debnath

Dear friends, my name is Somen Debnath. I am a resident of the village of Basanti, Sundarbans, West Bengal, which is a great mangrove forest and the largest tiger reserve in India. My "Around the World Bicycle Tour for HIV/AIDS Awareness Programme & Presentation of Indian Culture" started on 27th of May 2004, two days after I acquired Bachelor degree in Zoology from the University of Calcutta. I have also completed 'Visarad' in Fine Arts from the Sarbabhartiya University. My goal is to cover 191 countries till 2020. I will travel 200.000 km in the whole world and reach nearly 20 million people. 118.000 km I will travel for charity, that's why I'm selling my Km to people. The support I will get from people buying my kilometres will help me fulfill my other dream: to build a Global village in my native place, Basanti, Sundarbans.
