Frankfurt, Germany, october 2011 – Diwali Festival

DIWALI FESTIVAL BHARAT VIREN, FRANKFURT, GERMANY

It was 29th October 2011, evening at 17.00hrs when I reached to Saalbau, Griesheim, Schwarzerlenweg 57, Bharat Viren Diwali Fastival. It was not so far from city center, it took me 30 minute by bicycle.

First I met Mr. Pulipera the president of Bharat Viren. He introduced me to other society members. The program started at 18:30hrs and I was the first speaker on that stage. Mr Pulipera and Mr. Anuraag Moudgil addressed the people and introduced me, then I had a ten minute talk about my travel.

It was a 5 hours program and because it was late and I had to come back to my place I could not stay until the end. I left at nearly 22:30hrs I found some company Pintu da and Pinki di, who are also Bengoli and  living here fast 10 years. When I reached home it was already 23:00hrs.

Bharat Viren association has donated 100 euro for my journey. Thank you very much for your support.

GURUDWARA (SIKKH TEMPLE), FRANKFURT, GERMANY

I came to visit Gurudwara in Frankfurt on the 30th of October 2011. This day was the Frankfurt Marathon which started at 10:30am. After 12:00 I was close to the city center and I met three Panjabi people and asked them where is Gurudwara. One of them was going towards there so I followed him. At nearly 12.30 we reached it.

After the prayer I got a chance to address to people about my journey and met brother, his two sons and wife who wanted to take me to his house. After a while we arrived to his place, it was not very far. I spent about two-three hours with them, then went back to Gurudwara. It was already 20:30hrs, so I decided to not to go to my apartment that night. Gurudwara is a place for a lot of people who are coming from India. In the evening I met some people from London and some Indian singer. It was a good evening and in the morning I went back to the main city.
