MY LOVELY DAUGHTER LAURA IN LONDON, 25 DECEMBER 2010

1st december is world AIDS day and also this day is a special day in my life because it is my child, Laura, birthday! I found her in Latvia, yes you  will be curious how it happned, even I am not married, just a few months back I was in my life 1st time in latvia, and I have a child. I met Agija when I was in Latvia two months back, she is my couch surfing friend. For a few days I stayed with her mother in law Lauma. Lauma does not know English but she took care of me  like my mother, sometime I called her Momlauma.

Laura is Agijas child, I feel she is my reflection. My friend child Laura is now 9 years old. She is so positive, she does not know English very well, we talk  always with sign language and so much positive energy I feel when I am with her. I am always waiting to see her again. She is so pure, innocent, always laughing, energetic, she has promised me she will come to visit me when I will stay in London. So she did, here she came with her mom and grand ma. She will travel by bicycle from Latvia to India when she will finish school. She will travel with me to discover Africa.

I am happy 2nd time meeting with her in my life. We feel we are so close and always she is a great inspiration  in my life. Every time when we leave each other always full of tears and deepest pain in my heart we feel!  Waiting to see you again my child!

Cecelia Casey says:

What an amazing story of love and connection. You are a very special person to meet so many people that connect to you. You are living a dream and an adventure that many people would like to do themselves. So by helping you they are adding a little bit of themselves to your trip–they become part of your adventure. Excellent!

About Somen Debnath

Dear friends, my name is Somen Debnath. I am a resident of the village of Basanti, Sundarbans, West Bengal, which is a great mangrove forest and the largest tiger reserve in India. My "Around the World Bicycle Tour for HIV/AIDS Awareness Programme & Presentation of Indian Culture" started on 27th of May 2004, two days after I acquired Bachelor degree in Zoology from the University of Calcutta. I have also completed 'Visarad' in Fine Arts from the Sarbabhartiya University. My goal is to cover 191 countries till 2020. I will travel 200.000 km in the whole world and reach nearly 20 million people. 118.000 km I will travel for charity, that's why I'm selling my Km to people. The support I will get from people buying my kilometres will help me fulfill my other dream: to build a Global village in my native place, Basanti, Sundarbans.
