KIEV, the 19th MAY 2010: ONE DAY AT THE LATVIAN EMBASSY AND MORE

Today 19th may2010, morning, Oleg and I reached to Latvia Embassy, at 9.55am. It is near the center of Kiev. Oleg and I, together, we are waiting! One by one, all people are going inside, yet we don’t know when the security officer will give us opportunity to go to inside. We entered last. By that time all the other applicants were writing their visa from. One embassy officer explained us what we need for visa. I have visa, for Oleg I came there. He wants to accompany me during my travel for a few countries.  After getting all the information we went outside.

It was nearly 12.00 when Oleg left me at one Indian Restaurant, to meet Kuldeep ji.  I asked getkeeper if Kuldeep ji was in restaurant, but he told me he was not there yet, but he will come. I called him, but I couldnt reach him. In that time, I met one Indian person living in Kiev for more then 20 years now.  His name is Raviji, he is a friend of Kuldeep’s mama. We had a talk, he is a nice person. Hearing us talk, other people that were in the resturant joined us. I went away after more than 2 hours. I had a lunch with with roti, rice and kadi (one spacial curry).

After that, I went for a meeting at Lebaberezna metro station. Two school students, Olga and her friend  Olesa were waiting for me. Olesa lives in America, she just came for a few days to Kiev, on vacation. When we reached Olga family, it was already 4.50pm. I was introduced to her mother and  father, a small family. I spent with them two nice hours of Indian-Russian cultural exchange. Olga and Olesa, the mom and I had a meal together. It is Georgian look like khingali, but here has a special name,  different. After that we played some music and I sang some songs for them.

When evening came, we went away. Olesa’s  house is little far from there, so she came with me to Lebaberezna metro near where we met.

Then I was heading towards Oleg’s home. On the road I met Oleg. We cycled together till home.

Oleg’s mother doesn’s speak English and I don’t know Russian very well, but we have a great understanding. I mean I understand when she is inviting me to eat. She is a great mother, always taking care of me. Like this, I feel that my mother is with me always!

20th of MAY 2010, KIEV, UKRAINE – NOT A VERY GOOD DAY

From morning I am feeling temperature, feel not comfortable; I was in Oksana home morning, but she and her others friend was not home. I left my bags and other things there.
I went to Indian restaurant to meet Kuldeepji, but he was not there today too. I met Sanjay, his younger borther, he told me kuldeepji just left.
After 30 minutes walk I reached to market, from morning I did not eat, so I bought four bananas.
In the market I found same ceramic pot, thought it is a good present for Oleg’s mom.
Then again I walked more then 40 minutes til Lebabrezna to Naberjanaya to Oleg home. When I reached home, the pot just fall on the ground and broke. I was unhappy! But ok,nothing is forever!
Then I cooked soya, chicken and potatoes and also one Indian curry. Andrew is our friend too, so we invite him for food, then together we ate. After that I took rest.
I am thinking I have to leave very soon but really I am not feeling good, I need rest, my whole body is painful.
Today I am very missing my family and my land, my country! I feel inside a pain, may be some of my very close friend are unhappy, it is a feeling which made me unhappy too. Inside I’m telling this is life, this is love and happiness.
Even the sky is cloudy today… may be tomorrow will be sun sign day, and bright sun beams will fall on! This is meaning of life!
