Nathalie, my CS friend inGeneva, although I had no time to write her, but she hosted me. I am the first couch surfer in her apartment. She is very careful and friendly, working as a teacher in government primary school inGeneva. When i came to her place and shared my experience, she was very happy and made a couch surfing event. I was really surprised for her friendly thinking. We decided to invite people after8 pm.

So 6 friends we were together for dinner, i cooked alu gobi, potato, cauliflower, mixed vegetables, benjal fry and dhal. Four Indians were there who were also using couchsurfing.

I met Rajesh that night cs meeting, he promise me he will come and take me to one Indian food exchange programme,it was organized by his wife, it was a NGO support programme, i was very happy to see people, eat “thali” ( south Indian meal)and their exchange. Thank you Rajesh .

Next day Nathalie cooked a delicious meal –it was made by dough, fish and cheese, it look like cookies with salad. It was a very nice lunch.

Then Nathalie left for mountain with other friends, she left key for me, last few days peaceful couch made me really happy. It was last day ofGeneva, Nathalie invited others two friends and we had a dinner together, i met her best friend Elodie. Elodie brought hand-made cake from home; it was very delicious after Indian meal. Thank you for your couch, friendship and great company. I am definitely can say others CS friends will be happy to see you!

About Somen Debnath

Dear friends, my name is Somen Debnath. I am a resident of the village of Basanti, Sundarbans, West Bengal, which is a great mangrove forest and the largest tiger reserve in India. My "Around the World Bicycle Tour for HIV/AIDS Awareness Programme & Presentation of Indian Culture" started on 27th of May 2004, two days after I acquired Bachelor degree in Zoology from the University of Calcutta. I have also completed 'Visarad' in Fine Arts from the Sarbabhartiya University. My goal is to cover 191 countries till 2020. I will travel 200.000 km in the whole world and reach nearly 20 million people. 118.000 km I will travel for charity, that's why I'm selling my Km to people. The support I will get from people buying my kilometres will help me fulfill my other dream: to build a Global village in my native place, Basanti, Sundarbans.
